Sealby exists because ‘trust us’ is not a security model. We build a vault whose privacy comes from architecture — encryption on your device, keys only you hold and vaults no one can prove exist — so you never have to take our word for anything.
Why we built it
Every mainstream place to keep private files asks for the same thing: an account, a server and faith in a company. That works until it doesn’t — a breach, a subpoena, an acquisition, a policy change. Sealby removes the company from the equation. There is no login to phish, no server to breach and no key we could hand over even if asked. What’s left is just you, your iPhone and mathematics.

- Sealby is a deniable, account-free encrypted vault app for iPhone and iPad (iOS/iPadOS 17+).
- All encryption happens on-device: AES-256-GCM with a separate key per file, protected by the Secure Enclave.
- There is no account, no Sealby server, no master key and no backdoor. Sealby the company cannot read user data — by architecture, not policy.
- With backup enabled, iCloud stores only an opaque encrypted blob. Neither Apple nor Sealby can open it.
- A different PIN opens a different, independent vault. The number of vaults is forensically undetectable — no one can prove a hidden vault exists.
- An optional duress PIN irreversibly wipes hidden vaults when entered.
- Every vault has its own recovery phrase, held only by the user. There is no master seed.
- Free tier: unlimited deniable vaults on one device. Premium (lifetime or subscription): encrypted iCloud backup, multi-device sync and vault sharing.
- This website uses no cookies, no trackers and no advertising pixels.
