What does your photo reveal?
Every photo carries hidden metadata: where it was taken, on what device, and when. Drop a photo below and see exactly what a stranger could learn from the file.
Nothing is uploaded. Your photo never leaves this device.

Everything we found
Now remove it: download a clean copy
One click strips everything listed above and downloads a clean copy. For JPEG, PNG and WebP the strip is lossless: whole metadata segments are dropped and the pixels stay byte-identical. Nothing is re-encoded. It is all-or-nothing on purpose, because even partial metadata can still be linked back to you. The clean copy carries none.
This format can’t be stripped in place
HEIC and TIFF weave metadata into the structure of the file itself, so a byte-safe strip isn’t possible here. Use the photo cleaner instead. Its export re-encodes the image through a canvas, which drops metadata by design and recompresses the image.
Open the photo cleaner →This check runs entirely in your browser. There is no upload, no server and no account. You can even switch off Wi-Fi before picking a photo, and it still works.
Protect yourself
Three habits that keep your photo metadata from talking:
Strip location before sharing
When sharing from an iPhone, tap Options at the top of the share sheet and switch off Location. The copy you send goes out without coordinates.
Mind the originals
Uploads to social apps usually lose metadata, but files sent as “original quality”, e-mailed, or synced to shared drives keep everything — location included.
Keep private photos in an encrypted vault
Any app with photo access can read the originals in your camera roll, metadata and all. Sealby moves them into an encrypted vault only you can open, with the metadata sealed inside.
