Private link cleaner
Clean a shared link
Remove the parts that track you. Nothing leaves this browser.
The link is handled on this device. This tool never opens it or fetches it.
What this removes
It removes common campaign labels and click IDs, such as UTM labels, gclid and fbclid. When a Google or Facebook redirect already contains its destination, it can unwrap that locally too.
What it cannot see
Some short links and server-side redirects only reveal their destination after a server receives the request. This page never fetches a link, so it will not pretend to know where those go.
Why bother?
Those extra pieces often tell an ad or analytics system which message, site or person led to a visit. Removing them does not make a site anonymous; it simply shares a cleaner address.
Clean link questions
Does this tool visit the link I paste?
No. It only reads the text in the address locally and never fetches or opens it.
Will a clean link still work?
Usually. The tracking labels are normally optional. If a site truly needs a value to work, you can keep the original link instead.
Can this reveal where every short link goes?
No. That would require following the redirect on a server or in a browser. This tool deliberately does neither.
