Common questions
Isn’t end-to-end encryption the same everywhere?
The cryptography is similar. The trust model is not. An account-based service knows who you are, that you store data, and roughly how much. That information can be demanded. Sealby has no account and no server, so there is no one to ask and nothing to list.
Can Sealby replace my cloud drive?
No, and it does not try to. Sealby is for the files that should be sealed: private photos, documents, notes, recovery phrases. Premium adds encrypted iCloud backup and sync of those vaults. It is still a vault, not a file-sharing drive.
