Private photo check
Is video hiding here?
Check whether a photo carries extra video or sound you never meant to share.
The photo is inspected on this device. It is not uploaded or played.
What this checks
A JPEG has a clear ending. Some camera and sharing formats put another payload after that ending. This tool reports that extra data, including simple signs it may be video, without trying to play it.
What it cannot promise
No extra data does not prove a photo is private. Video may be stored beside the photo instead, and proprietary formats are not decoded here. This checker is about appended JPEG data only.
Remove it from a sharing copy
The metadata stripper makes a new lossless JPEG copy and removes anything after the real image end. Keep your original if you may need the Live Photo or motion content.
Hidden video check questions
Can a photo secretly contain a video?
Some JPEG-based motion-photo systems store extra data after the still image. The picture can look ordinary even when that data is present.
Will this play the hidden video?
No. It only checks for extra data and simple container hints. It never decodes or plays private media.
How do I remove extra data from a JPEG?
Use the linked metadata stripper to create a new JPEG sharing copy. It removes data after the image end and checks the result again.
