Why read before you scan
A QR code is just text your phone trusts instantly. A sticker over a real one, a code in an email, or a printed flyer can send you to a look-alike site, a hidden shortener, or a Wi-Fi trap. Reading the content first — without your camera app auto-opening it — is the safest way to check.

No. The picture is decoded in this browser on your device. Sealby never receives the image or its content.
Does this open the link inside the QR code?
No, and that is the point. It shows you the exact address so you can read the domain first. Opening it is always a deliberate, separate click.
Can it read a QR code from a screenshot?
Yes. A screenshot, photo or saved image all work, as long as the code is reasonably clear and not badly angled.
