Common questions
Is it safe to keep a seed phrase on a phone at all?
A phrase typed into ordinary apps is not safe. Screenshots, keyboards and sync can all leak it. A vault on your device changes that: Sealby encrypts the phrase on your device with AES-256, keeps the keys in the Secure Enclave, and never sends anything readable anywhere. For large holdings, keep an offline backup too.
What happens if I lose my phone?
With Premium, your vault backs up to iCloud as encrypted data that you can restore with the vault’s recovery phrase. Without backup, treat Sealby as one copy and keep your usual offline backup too.
