How is this different from locked notes in Apple Notes?
Apple Notes locks individual notes, but the Notes app, the note titles and the note count stay visible. Sealby seals whole vaults of notes and files and keeps no stored list or count of vaults. Every vault also has its own recovery phrase that doesn’t depend on your Apple ID.
Can I store PDFs and scans alongside notes?
Yes. Any file type — PDFs, scans, spreadsheets, archives — is encrypted with its own key and lives next to your notes with folders, tags and search.
