Hide photos and videos on Android

Sealby is a private photo vault for Android that hides photos, videos, documents and notes behind their own PIN, encrypted on your phone, with no Sealby account.

In development and preparing for store review.

Free on Android. Paid version allows protection such as duress mode.

Built for Android

More than one locked folder

Multiple vaults

Create separate vaults for separate parts of your life. Each PIN opens only its own vault.

Photos, Videos and Files

Keep more than a private album. Organise documents, folders and notes beside your media.

Encrypted on your device

Sealby uses the same encrypted vault format and cryptographic core as Sealby for iPhone.

Duress PIN

Premium can open a harmless vault and remove protected vaults when a duress PIN is used.

Cold vaults

Free on every tier. Remove a vault’s daily unlock path so opening it again requires its recovery phrase.

Encrypted export

Export an encrypted vault copy and keep it wherever you choose. Its contents remain sealed.

An alternative to one built-in locked folder

Android already offers useful ways to hide private media. Sealby is for people who want several independent vaults and more than photos.

Device screen lock

Google Photos Locked Folder

One folder for photos and videos, protected by the device screen lock. Optional backup uses a Google Account.

Galaxy devices only

Samsung Secure Folder

A separate secured area on supported Galaxy devices, with its own lock and space for apps and files.

Sealby

Multiple vaults, a different PIN for each, no Sealby account, and support for media, documents, folders and notes.

Built-in product details checked against official documentation in October 2026.

Share with others on Android or iPhone

Android, iPhone and Mac use the same vault format. You can share a vault between devices.

  • The exported file stays encrypted.
  • You choose how the file moves between devices.
