Locked vaults are stored as encrypted blocks, without a stored vault list or count. That limits what the app reveals, but it does not guarantee what an inspection can establish or how someone demanding access will react. Content you open can be viewed or copied.
Sealby does not require a Sealby account and does not hold your vault decryption keys. Optional Premium iCloud backup stores encrypted data under your Apple account. Do not mistake the absence of a Sealby account for the absence of third-party records or legal risks.
Each vault has its own recovery phrase. Keep a verified written copy in a trusted offline location, separate from the phone; do not rely only on memory or improvised word splitting. Restoring after losing the phone also requires an available encrypted copy, such as a completed backup or an encrypted export saved elsewhere. The words alone cannot recreate missing data.
That depends on the device state, what you open and copies held elsewhere. The installed app and encrypted data may be visible, and an opened vault's content can be inspected or copied. Sealby stores no vault list or count, but this is not a guarantee against further questions, discovery or an unsafe response.
